  Ute Lemper - Punishing Kiss
With a stellar & diverse collection of contributing song writers including Nick Cave, Elvis Costello, Philip Glass & Tom Waits, Joby was called upon by executive producer David Sefton to give the album a distinctive sound as musical director and arranger. He also cowrote three songs with Neil Hannon: 'Split', 'The Case Continues', & 'You Were Meant for Me'.

  Paul McCartney - Chaos and Creation in the Back Yard
Joby was asked to contribute orchestral arrangements to Paul McCartney's Grammmy nominated masterpiece by producer Nigel Godrich. He contributed to seven songs including the single 'Fine Line'.

  The Divine Comedy - Casanova
'Casanova' was the Divine Comedy's breakthrough album with three singles making the UK top 40. Joby helped Neil realise his orchestral production ideas and for the first time was given free reign in the arrangement of the epic 'The Dogs & the Horses'.

  The Divine Comedy - A Short Album About Love
The fourth Divine Comedy album was arguably the one to which Joby contributed the most. Recorded live onstage at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire, Joby arranged the 30 piece orchestra & played keyboards. Includes the single 'Everybody Knows...' and 'In Pursuit of Happiness' which subsequently was reworked as the Tomorrow's World theme tune.

  The Divine Comedy - Fin de Siecle
Joby cowrote two songs ('Eric the Gardener' & the single 'The Certainty of Chance') on this, the Divine Comedy's best selling album which includes the top 10 single 'National Express'.
